Following a racist social media post and white supremacist fliers in the community, upheaval on the SUNY Plattsburgh campus last semester showed us that students need connections to the community.
We have another opportunity to make those connections at CommUNITY Night at the Pond, 6 p.m., Friday, Aug. 31. This third-annual event is designed to bring campus and community together in a spirit of unity.
